Getting the homefront ready

Today was a big moving day.  My son is done school for the semester, so he was very helpful in getting some larger furniture moved.  We decided to buy him a new bed for his apartment and he enjoyed assembling what he called Adult Lego.  It’s looking very good so far.  I figure the kids will be moved out by Sunday night.  Just in time, the carpet cleaners arrive on Monday morning to clean this house.

Over in BC, Leon is about to prime the ceilings of the newly renovated main floor.  I imagine there will be a big painting party on the weekend and then the laminate floors get installed in time for Christmas.  Phew!  It’s all moving quickly now.

Still no news about my visa but we are  having visions of tropical drinks on the beach in Fiji.  By the way, the temp was 30C and sunny today over there.  Feels like 40C in the humidity.  But we’ll be on the beach, so we can take it.  A nice Bure, overlooking the ocean.  Ahh….  Stay tuned for pics of that!
